Inspirada is a master planned community at the far southern point in the Las Vegas Valley at the entrance to Sloan Canyon – a 50,000-acre federally protected area in the heart of the Nevada desert. The canyon is home to bighorn sheep, desert tortoises, chuckwallas, and a variety of other wildlife. Ancient petroglyphs line the stones of the canyon.
Unlike traditional suburban communities, Inspirada is designed to replicate an urban neighborhood where neighbors know each other by name and work, live, and shop within walking distance.
The community has several distinct villages, each with its own feel. And each built around its own park and recreation center where residents can gather for community events. Homes range from 1,000 square foot condos to 4,000 square foot brownstones.
At the center of the community is a 300-acre town center with a variety of shops, dining, and other services. Plus a high-density work/living area with offices and shops at street level and living spaces above.
