Just 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip, Boulder City Nevada is an oasis for those looking for the small-town life but who still want to work and/or play in the city.
The town was established when the famous Hoover Damn was being built to house the workers and their families. Now, the city is home to numerous parks, a quaint downtown with diners and antique shops, and several festivals and events take place throughout the year.
Boulder City is technically one of the largest cities in Nevada at over 200 square miles but has one of the lowest population densities. Most of the residences are located within a close proximity of the city center. Giving it that small-town America feel.
The town sits right on the Lake Mead National Recreation area and is home to a few casino/hotels. Henderson is just about ten minutes away, giving residents access to world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment options without the need to live in the city.
